Users must not publish illegal content or content prohibited by our Terms of Service.

Terms of Service

1. What Can Be Reported

You may report specific Marketplace content that you believe is illegal or otherwise prohibited.

This may include content involving:

  • fraud or impersonation;
  • unauthorized company representation;
  • intellectual-property infringement;
  • phishing or malware;
  • illegal goods or services;
  • unlawful disclosure of confidential information;
  • unlawful discriminatory content; or
  • other content that may violate applicable law or our Terms.

For ordinary support questions, bugs or feature requests, please use our Feedback page instead.

2. How to Report Content

Use our electronic reporting form:

Report illegal content

A report should provide enough information for us to identify and assess the content, including:

  • the exact Marketplace URL or other clear location of the content;
  • an explanation of why you believe the content is illegal or prohibited;
  • your name and email address where required by applicable law; and
  • confirmation that you believe the information in the report is accurate and complete.

Applicable law may allow reporter identity information to be omitted in certain specific cases.

3. How We Review Reports

Reports are reviewed in a timely, diligent, objective and non-arbitrary manner.

At launch, reports and resulting content-moderation decisions are reviewed by a person. We do not use automated means to make decisions restricting reported User Content.

Depending on the circumstances, we may:

  • take no action;
  • request additional information;
  • request correction;
  • restrict visibility;
  • remove or disable content;
  • suspend a profile or account; or
  • take another proportionate action.

Submission of a report does not automatically remove or restrict the reported content.

4. Decisions and Notifications

Where you provide electronic contact information, we will send confirmation of receipt and notify you of our decision where required by applicable law.

Where we restrict content or access on the basis that content is illegal or incompatible with our Terms, the affected User will receive an explanation where required by law.

Where required by applicable law, that statement will include the information applicable to the decision, such as the nature and duration or scope of the restriction, the relevant facts and circumstances, whether the decision followed a notice, whether automated means were used, the applicable legal or contractual ground and clear information about available ways to seek review or other redress.

We may limit information in a notice where disclosure would be unlawful, create a security risk or interfere with a competent authority's investigation.

5. Review and Redress

Where a review or redress mechanism applies to a moderation decision, information about that option will be provided with the relevant decision or upon request.

Nothing in this Policy limits any right to seek judicial or other legal remedies available under applicable law.

6. Urgent Safety Matters

Reports indicating an immediate risk to life or safety may require urgent handling.

Where we become aware of information giving rise to a suspicion of a criminal offence involving a threat to the life or safety of a person, we will notify the relevant law-enforcement or judicial authorities where required by applicable law.
