Omega Byte Kft. is a Hungarian industrial automation company specialising in custom-built special-purpose machines and the software that runs them. We design the process, the hardware, the electronics and the software in-house, and on our projects the technical lead is usually the software developer, since they know the machine's operation best. What we deliver: • Automated special-purpose machines, measurement stations and End-of-Line test systems, with complete turnkey execution • Camera-based / AOI inspection stations for quality control of parts from millimetre-scale components up to 30–40 cm products, with task-specific cameras and dedicated control software • Real-time control, data acquisition and processing of production and test data, including AI-assisted process optimisation • Retrofit and modernisation of existing systems • PLC and robot programming, troubleshooting and fault diagnosis (e.g. PLC network gateways, data acquisition errors, injection moulding machines, printing presses) • Custom PC-based industrial software: production support systems, engineering records, real-time maintenance data collection (LabVIEW, C#/.NET, PLC, OPC) Technologies we work with include Siemens, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, Omron, KUKA, ABB, Denso, National Instruments/LabVIEW, SICK, Keyence, Balluff and Festo. Our team (10-20 employees) works under an ISO 9001:2015 compliant quality management system covering software development and the development of industrial measurement systems and special-purpose machines.
